Degree
Requirements Policy
Effective
Students entering the
college are required to satisfy the degree requirements in place at the
beginning of their first term.
The requirements are tracked
via the computer by the start-date entered for each student.
Students may change and/or
have their requirements assigned to a more recent term as follows:
1) Students who have not attended classes for 12 or more
months must have their transcript reviewed by a Dean or designate for
appropriate placement.� The standard
approach is to have the student adhere to the most recent requirements.� The decision is established by to the
college,
2) Students who have attended during the past 12 months
and students who are currently attending may request a Deans� review and seek
approval to have the newest requirements apply to them.
The computer is used to
track the change of requirements by updating the individual student
re-entry-date.
When a student changes
his/her major, they must adhere to the most current degree requirements.
